In Krasnoyarsk, a massive race of oil workers was held in honor of the professional holiday

On the eve of the day of the oil and gas industry workers in Krasnoyarsk, a large-scale athletic race was held, uniting more than 200 employees of the Rosneft subsidiaries-Stebneftegaz, RN-VAVKORA, Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz and other regional units.

Athletes competed at distances of 1, 5 and 10 kilometers in two age categories, which allowed both experienced runners and beginners to get to the start. To accurately fix the results, all participants were given chronotrekers, and a professional warm -up was organized before the start.

For the first time, a children's race took place as part of the holiday, in which more than 150 young athletes aged 2 to 14 years took part. For all guests and fans, an interactive entertainment program was prepared.

Support for sports and a healthy lifestyle is one of the key areas of Rosneft's social policy. The company systematically develops the corporate sports and fitness movement “Energy of Life”, which, according to the results of 2024, covers almost 128 thousand workers-about 40 % of the total number of staff.

A significant contribution to the promotion of these values ​​is made by the “East Siberian Oil and Gas Company” (VSNK). Every year, her team takes part in corporate sports games in such disciplines as mini-football, volleyball, basketball, athletics and swimming. To prepare for the competitions, the VSKA organizes regular training on the basis of leading sports complexes in Krasnoyarsk with the involvement of qualified trainers.

Particular attention is paid to the creation of sports infrastructure directly at production facilities. So, at the Yurubchen-Tokhmsk field for shift workers, a modern gym with a fitness trainer is constantly working. In 2022, the Khuktychi Oron stadium was opened there, and in 2025 a new indoor gym.

During the year, tournaments are regularly held among workers, and on the eve of a professional holiday – annual competitions on checkers, chess, weight sports, volleyball, football and tug of rope.
