Nicușor Dan is going to attend the meeting with PSD, PNL, USR, UDMR and national minorities, who was scheduled at 5 pm, say political sources at the meeting, consulted by HotNews.

Discussions about package 2 of fiscal reforms last for more than a month, being blocked following misunderstandings, especially after PSD has decided not to attend coalition meetings.

Today's meeting takes place after the leaders of the coalition on Monday have not reached any final agreement.

In today's meeting, which takes place in the Government, the representatives of the coalition will discuss, in order to reach a final agreement, about the measures that the Executive will take in the local public administration and about certain fiscal measures, according to HotNews sources. A subject in the tax area that the coalition must agree is the share capital of the companies.

In the meeting on Monday, a series of thresholds were proposed, according to HotNews sources, but the subject was not cut and will be resumed in Tuesday. Digi24.ro writes that this is the following steps:

  • 500 lei share capital for companies with a turnover of up to 400,000 lei,
  • 5,000 lei for those companies with turnover between 400,000 lei and 7 million lei;
  • 90,000 lei share capital for companies with a turnover of over 7 million lei.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said he wants to adopt the 2 measures package by assuming the liability before the Parliament. Most likely this will happen on Friday. There are three days when the opposition can submit censorship motion. If the motion falls, the measures are considered adopted by the Parliament.
