The army is to go to Chicago
Donald Trump's administration is preparing a plan to send the National Guard to Chicago, “The Washington Post” said. The newspaper, citing officials familiar with the case, claims that the model similar to Washington and Chicago can then be used in other large US cities. One of the options provided by the plan is the arrangement of at least several thousand members of the National Guard in Chicago in September. Other cities in question include New York, Los Angeles and Detroit.
Fire at a nuclear power plant
The Ukrainian attack using a drone led to a fire and damage to the auxiliary transformer at the Kurska Atomic Power Plant in the West of Russia. The power plant press office announced that no one was injured, but as a result of this event, the efficiency of the third block of the power plant dropped to 50 percent. The destroyed drone also caused a fire that has already been extinguished. The radiation level in the power plant and in the area did not exceed the standards – the power plant press office assured. Ukraine did not refer to this information.
Israeli opposition thunder
Beni Ganc, one of the leaders of the Israeli opposition, called on Saturday evening to establish a government of national unity. In his opinion, such a office could lead to the release of hostages detained by Hamas in the Gaza Strip and the adoption of the Act on consumption to the Ultra -Pressure Army of Jews (Charedim). The survival of the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu depends on his coalition partners. These are extremely nationalist parties, opposing the contract with Hamas, in which the opposition and most of the society sees hope for release of hostages. On the other hand, the fate of the coalition depends on religious groups that want to push the exemption from delay for Charedi.
