The Minister of National Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, went to Kiev on Sunday, on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day. Mosteanu met in Kiev and Trump's emissary for Ukraine, Keith Kellog, who was satisfied for the efforts made by the Trump administration in “mediating and accelerating the peace process.”
The relevant minister also participated in the “Defense Cooperation Forum. Mosteanu said he spoke during the event about Romania's contribution to supporting Ukraine.
“Russia's war against Ukraine is also a direct threat to Europe. That's why Romania is and will remain a reliable ally, on the eastern flank of NATO,” wrote Ionuț Moșteanu.
In the margin of the visit, Mosteanu also met with Keith Kellogg, the special emissary of US President Donald Trump for Ukraine.
The Minister of Defense stated that he was pleased for him for the efforts made by the Trump administration “in the mediation and acceleration of the peace process”.
“Today, along with Joseph Keith Kellogg Jr., President Donald Trump's special emissary for Ukraine. I thanked him for the efforts made by President Donald Trump's administration in mediating and accelerating the peace process.
