Bacteria in ice cream samples. Sanepid reveals the results of the inspection

The Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Szczecin announced that in the August controls 12 poviats were covered, mainly in the coastal belt. Of the 17 inspected ice cream parlors, the irregularities were found in four.

Małgorzata Kapłan, spokeswoman for the WSEZ in Szczecin, emphasized that though None of the samples detected pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella or Listeria monocytogenesthis presence of Enterobacteriaceae indicates the hygiene problems of devices or errors in the production process.

Sanepid returned to the ice cream parlor to the sea. Is there an improvement?
