The Russians test the army in the Baltic. “Destruction of a simulated enemy”


The exercises of Russian troops in the Baltic Sea take place during important meetings as part of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. Last week, US President Donald Trump met Alaska with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Then the meeting of President Volodymyr Zelanski and EU leaders with Donald Trump in the White House took place.
Now the American administration informs about readiness to prepare a three-sided Trump-Putin-Zełenski meeting, which, according to unofficial information, could take place in Budapest. Geneva, Vienna or Türkiye are also involved.

Russian training in the Baltic. This is how Russia simulates “destruction of the enemy”
In the first part of the training in the Baltic Sea, Russian soldiers of PDSS units (underwater sabotage and special activities) They were designed to detect and stop sabotage artists and use FPV drones in the neutralization of unmanned units of the simulated opponent.
The sea stage of exercise also included Assessment of the activities of the Fleet Duty forces and Defense Units against Sabotage of submarines. The ministry emphasized that the staff showed efficiency in detecting underwater groups of sabotage artists and in operating FPV drones.
The second stage focused on protecting the airport against unmanned attacks using electronic combat systems. During the exercises, aviation equipment operational preparation was demonstrated, enabling its quick protection and evacuation in the event of an attack.

Admiral Aleksander Moiseev also assessed the activities of the logistics services of the fleet and maritime aviation units in terms of restoring the airport's efficiency after using the destruction of the simulated enemy.
At the same time, the rear units of the Baltic fleet with the main maneuvers arranged temporary supply points, including field fuel and lubricants, clothing and food warehouses, as well as field kitchens and bread baking workshops, which was to provide full logistics support for exercise participants.
