The new regulations, which are based on a different approach than those used globally by the World Postal Association, will come into force on August 29, 2025. This measure will have a significant impact on all postal companies around the world and their customers sending shipments via postal networks to the United States (USPS)
Limiting Poczta Polska applies to the following shipments with goods (until further notice):
- postal packages, including with a declared value
- letter shipments with a declared value
- not registered, registered letter shipments
- Shipments Global Express
- EMS shipments
There are also some exceptions. It is still possible to broadcast:
- not registered letter shipments and registered mail without the content of the goods (permissible content is only correspondence and documents)
- EMS shipments with documents
