Donald Trump from Thursday to Friday (Polish time) went to the Anacostia Park Police Operational Center in the south-eastern part of Washington.
He gave a short speech there in which he repeated his words about the level of crime in the US capital and that his efforts led to increased security in the city. He also thanked the soldiers of the National Guard and the services for their work. – You are the winners and I think it's a great honor to be with you. We will make Washington great again! – he said.
During the speech, Trump also accused local authorities of manipulating statistics that indicate differently. – The number of crimes has dropped significantly (…). You have seen some statistics. They just read them to me – he said.
In addition, he repeated that such actions “can also cover areas other than Washington.” – We don't play any games. We will take care of safety here, and then we will go to other places, but We will stay here for some time. We want it to be absolutely perfect – he said.
Donald Trump also stated that “everyone is safe now. Everyone feels safe.”
