Superliga: Mauro pedderzoli, conclusions two months after the arrival at Rapid. What he took on the back – “fantastic! It's something special”

Mauro Pederzoli, the sports director of the Rapid, spoke exclusively with the Sports Gazette about the beginning of the team, but also about adapting to Romanian football, the atmosphere on the Giulești stadium and the relationship with Costel Gâlcă and the owner Dan Șucu.
About the goals of the Rapid, Pederzoli states that he wants a ranking in the first places and returning to European competitions. Also, the sports director is satisfied with the relationship with coach Costel Gâlcă and the owner Dan Șucu.
Regarding the adaptation to Romanian football, Pederzoli says he has to learn, but every day he makes progress and better understands the mentality and characteristics of the players in Superliga.
“Every day it is better, of course, I am new here, I only arrived, I knew a little about Romanian football, but it is different when you are here, you really understand the mentality, you understand the characters of each, I have to learn, but every day it is better,” he said.
Mauro Pederzoli said that the atmosphere on Giulești is fantastic: “When you enter here for the match, it is something special, you feel the fans play for us, it is a great pride to play in front of them and a great responsibility because we feel that we have to give everything we have better, especially for them, because it is worth it.”
