Jarosław Kaczyński criticizes Donald Tusk at a rally in Warsaw

Prime Minister Tusk, via social media, presented his position on migration policy and the implementation of the migration pact in Poland. In a post on the social media platform, X said:
“I said that there will be no relocation of migrants in Poland and there will be no! It's done. That we will seal the barrier on the border with Belarus – and today it is the best-guarded border in Europe. That we will tighten visa and asylum regulations – and Poland has become a model for others. We do, we don't talk!” – we read.
Jarosław Kaczyński quickly reacted to these words and sharply criticized the prime minister's actions during a rally organized under the slogans of opposition to illegal migration and the agreement with Mercosur. The PiS president recalled that Donald Tusk in the past supported penalties for Poland for blocking EU migration regulations.
“Today Donald Tusk, who not so long ago said that Poland would have to be punished, because it is the law, because our government was able to ensure that this agreement did not enter into force then and this continued for many years. Today he suddenly announces that we will have no immigration next year. Don't be fooled, these are old games” – said Kaczyński, calling on those gathered to be skeptical about the Prime Minister's declaration.

“These are games, they have the support of the European Union“- added Kaczyński.
The rally at Castle Square gathered supporters of the ruling party who expressed their opposition to EU migration solutions and the agreement with Mercosur. Kaczyński's speech is part of a broader context of political tension between the government and the opposition, which has been increasing in recent weeks.
