“Very difficult to tell you, honestly and directly, but my message was, for the people in the system, that these measures are crisis measures, not reform. We do not like them, I do not want them, you realize that I would not have wanted the minister of austerity and the one who must implement them,” the Minister of Education replied.
He said that he asked the people in the system to start the school and find solutions on all problems, including based on budget projections for next year.
“Let's start the school, let's build some rational projections in the medium and long term, to see what budget we can have next year, to see what other changes we can bring to help us and, when the fiscal-budgetary measures will show their effects and stabilize, let's not forget that many of these measures are temporarily,”
The fiscal-budgetary measures adopted by the government have dissatisfied the education employees, they constantly organizing protests and threatening with the general strike.
