Wołodymyr Zelanski evaluates conversations in the White House. He talks about the meeting with Donald Trump

– Security guarantees are a key issue on the road to the end of the war. The US sends a signal that they will participate in a security guarantee for our country. There is a political will in this matter – added Wołodymyr Zelnski.
Zelanski about a possible meeting with Putin
Then the President of Ukraine said about a potential meeting of heads of states for peace conversations. – Russia proposed at the beginning a bilateral and later a three -sided meeting. We are ready for a two -sided meeting with Putin. And then we count on a three -sided meeting with Trump – said Zelanski.
– With President Trump we agreed that all parties must demonstrate the desire to end the war – this diplomatic meeting at the level of leaders. If one of the parties does not want a meeting, we will ask for adequate actions from the USA, i.e. emphasis – said Zelanski. – We are ready for every format of the meeting at the level of leaders.
– The issue of territories will remain a matter between me and Putin – added the President of Ukraine. As he said, he explained to President Trump what percentage of the territories occupied by Russia was captured by the Russians as a result of the movement of the Russian army.
– I think that without any preliminary conditions we should meet and talk about the development of accidents towards the end of the war – noted Zelanski.
Referring to what Trump's telephone conversation with Putin looked like, Zelanski said that the US President had left the room, and after returning he reported that in an interview with Putin they first determined the organization of a bilateral meeting (Ukraine-Russia), and then he was to come to a triangular meeting.
“We don't have any date, we just managed to confirm that we are ready for a bilateral and then three -sided meeting,” said Zelanski, answering journalists' questions.
