The famous Russian rower Kirill Lyapunov was brutally beaten right in the center of Moscow
On the night of January 4, a 38-year-old athlete was taken to the Botkin hospital with terrible injuries: doctors diagnosed a bruise of an eyeball, hematomas of the eyelids, face bruises and a fracture of the right digulo-orbital complex.
Lyapunov managed to report that unknown people attacked him near the house on Tver Boulevard, and then lost consciousness. Arriving investigators could not interview him.
Lyapunov is a silver medalist of the European Championship, a member of the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, a master of sports of international class.
