Bubble film almost killed a girl in the Moscow region
A 15-year-old girl was admitted to the Mytishchi hospital with severe abdominal pain. Doctors discovered holes in her stomach that appeared from the bubble wrap she had eaten. The girl herself can’t remember when this happened: “I just thought a lot, sat and chewed.”
The operation was successful and the patient is recovering. Doctors are surprised: quite often they find hair, paper clips, balls, but not film. This is the first time this has happened.
