In Khakassia, the director of the children's health camp was detained, where after processing the Komarov, a 10-year-old girl died.
According to the investigation, in the period from June 13 to 26, the child uncontrollably in order to protect against insect bites applied her repellents, applying insecticidal drugs to clothes and the body, which entailed the development of acute chemical poisoning. At the same time, there was no control of their use by the head and employees of the camp.
On June 26, the girl expressed complaints of poor health, she was urgently hospitalized in the hospital in extremely serious condition. However, despite the qualified medical care provided, on July 1, 2025 she died.
“The examination showed that the death of the child occurred as a result of acute poisoning by the component of the insecticidal agent. The director of the camp did not provide round-the-clock staying on the territory of a pediatrician, limiting himself to the presence of a nurse, which entailed the untimely provision of the necessary medical care to the child, ”the investigation department said.
The director of the children's health camp was charged with committing a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of consumer life and health, resulting in the death of a person by negligence). The defendant was detained and interrogated, now the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
The chairman of the Investigative Committee submits a report on the progress of the investigation. In the criminal case, investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, collecting and fixing the evidence base.
