IT holding T1 and the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Tatarstan will jointly develop digital services in the field of healthcare

At SPIEF 2026, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Tatarstan and the T1 IT holding signed a cooperation agreement.
The partnership is aimed at implementing projects in healthcare: T1’s expertise, products and services will help improve the quality and speed of providing medical care to residents of the region through the digitalization of medical institutions.
The Republic of Tatarstan demonstrates steady growth in the IT industry: revenue in 2025 reached 270 billion rubles, tax deductions – 42 billion rubles. The region unites 3.5 thousand specialized companies, of which more than 680 are accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
The region is among the top 5 in Russia in terms of the number of small technology companies – 257 organizations. The share of people employed in IT and related industries is 3.3% of the economically active population, one of the maximum indicators among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Competencies: artificial intelligence, robotics, software development. At the same time, digital solutions are being implemented in public administration and the social sphere, including healthcare.
“In 2025, we launched a program of breakthrough IT solutions, the goal of which is to create a single digital space in Tatarstan to improve the quality of life of our citizens and the competitiveness of the economy. And this year, the republic became the first of the Russian regions to launch its artificial intelligence development program, thanks to which not only government authorities, but also doctors, teachers and businesses will be able to use the power of AI. We will be happy to consider the possibility of launching joint projects with the T1 IT holding within the framework of these programs,” commented Ilya Nachvin, Minister of Digital Development, Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Several pilot projects will soon be launched in local medical institutions. We are confident that joint work will improve the efficiency of processes in healthcare and become an example for medical institutions and other regions,” said Dmitry Kharitonov, General Director of the T1 IT holding.
