For 7 months of this year, under the supervision of the Rosselkhoznadzor, 4800 tons of watermelons from Asia countries were imported into the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which is 3.2 times more than last year (1,500 tons). Also, the import of watermelons from China increased 4.5 times: in 2025 – 189 tons, in 2024 – 42 tons.
According to the department, watermelons in the region are entered by road for wholesale product markets and through the temporary storage warehouse “agroterminal”. So, only in the first 12 days of this August, specialists controlled the import of 330 tons of watermelons into the edge.
