The court found that the woman was driving a technically sound car, and “through her actions she created a danger for the driver of the motorcycle, forcing him to take measures to prevent a collision by applying braking and changing the trajectory of movement, as a result of which he lost control of the motorcycle and allowed it to fall.” A 24-year-old motorcyclist suffered from injuries. died on the spot before the ambulance arrived.

According to Part 3 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the culprit of the accident was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment to be served in a penal colony and with the deprivation of a driver’s license for the same period. The verdict was announced on February 19 and has not yet entered into legal force.
