Sibiryak explained the protracted repair of three key roads of the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk

The Krasnoyarsk prosecutor’s office reacted to violations during road repair on Shumyatsky Street, Komsomolsky and Metallurgov Avenues, which is conducted by the Siberian USC.

We will remind, earlier the Krasnoyarsk residents complained that the road repair of three important highways of the Sovetsky district suddenly froze – instead of the new asphalt, residents have long been observed only the removed coating and the reversed roadsides.

The prosecutor’s office conducted an audit and found out that the contractor is behind the schedule:

“The road workers dismantled the old borders, the coating, and that’s all. Particular indignation was caused by safety violations: the lack of equipped descent at stops and areas dangerous for pedestrians, where they are forced to literally maneuver with a risk to health, bypassing construction trenches. The contractor referred to August rains, but the prosecutor’s office found out that the work schedule was originally compiled taking into account all the features, including weather conditions. ”

The head of the Siberian was made an idea with a demand to correct the situation: to ensure the safety of pedestrians, to speed up the pace of work and fulfill all obligations on time. The prosecutor's office continues to monitor the progress of the repair.
