The famous British TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson told a tense confrontation he had with a member of the Security team of American vice-president JD Vance during the holiday in the UK, The Independent reports.

Vance, who will attend the new meeting in the Oval Office on Monday between President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelenski, spent his summer vacation in a historic mansion in Cotswolds, a region of southwest England known for its picturesque landscapes.

The US Vice-President was welcomed last week by protesters who gathered in the village of Dean where the mansion rented. Protesters armed with banners, cakes and images with an inappropriate meme to the Vice -President organized a “party” of the “you are not welcome”.

Clarkson, 65 years old, is set in Cotswolds and is filming in the popular show Clarkson's Farm broadcast in streaming by Amazon Prime Video. The TV presenter wrote about Vance's visit in an opinion editorial published by The Sunday Times.

Clarkson noted that there was “an area of air prohibition of a kilometer around the house” where Vance was, a situation that he described as “a little annoying” because “we use drones to film my show about the farm.”
