The meeting of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska did not bring a breakthrough, but became an important point of geopolitical discussion. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski talked with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha on Saturday.

The topic was “Further efforts to peace and security guarantees for Ukraine“.” Unity and cooperation is the foundation of our joint security ” – we read in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs entry on Platform X.
“I talked to my Polish colleague Radosław Sikorski about recent diplomatic activities and efforts for peace,” admitted Andriy Sybiha. “We mentioned views on how to ensure permanent peace in Europe and reliable security guarantees for Ukraine.”
He expressed gratitude for – as he described – unwavering support of Poland. “Our unity and coordinated actions shape the foundations of the future of our joint security” – pointed out the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Radosław Sikorski also talked to his Czech counterpart about Ukraine on Saturday.
