Work abroad no longer brings the same benefits. The diaspora sends less money at home: “I do hunger”

The statistical data regarding the money sent by the Romanians from abroad to the country and the remitors of the foreign workers in Romania to the native countries, published by the BNR, shows that it is no longer so advantageous to work abroad at the Lower Work, considers the economist Andrei Caramitru.

“Ohoho how interesting. We are talking about migration and diaspora With figures! The BNR has just published how much money they enter the country in the diaspora and how much money is sent from here by the foreigners who work here ”the economist wrote on his Facebook page.

He listed a few “Things that gave me back“:

Money entering – about 1.5-2 billion euros per quarter. Money that comes out – about 0.4 billion. But – we have a diaspora of 5 million, instead we have emigrants only about 150,000.

So – per capita – I send Muuuult more Nepalese and Asian home than the free Dacians in the Diaspora. I don't know – but can remain more money in your pocket in RO than if you are in the west with the bottom work ????“Wrote Caramitru.

“Most of the money that enters Romania from the diaspora comes actually from Germany and England (almost 75%). From Italy and Spain (although there are many there) does not come in much – they come as much money from the US diaspora (which is tiny) as from the diaspora in Spain (which is Huge). Until visible.

How – it is inevitable – the number of emigrants will increase in Ro – over time the money coming from the diaspora will be neutralized by the money sent by our Asians at home.

The conclusion – if you work seriously as Nepalese In Romania you remain in your pocket a lot more money than if you are a bad or construction site in Italy and Spain“, said the economist.
