“The robot creates history.” How the first Olympic games for humanoid robots take place in China


In 2025, more than 500 robots take part in 26 disciplines, informs the publication. The program covers sports competitions: running, boxing, football. Also, demonstration performances: fashion shows, concerts, cleaning and imitation of work in warehouses and factories.

The publication adds that four main zones were prepared for the tournament: a jogging path 2.1 m long, a 5×5 m mini-football field, a boxing ring and additional sites. There is also a remote control zone where operators can control robots in real time, Media notes.

The publication adds to the competitions, both autonomous models operating on recognition and decision-making algorithms are allowed, as well as robots with a control panel that needs a stable 5G-A network.
