In the Evenki region, police began searching for a 36-year-old hunter who disappeared at the end of October.

Law enforcement officers received a report about the missing man on the evening of November 3, and his wife turned to law enforcement officers for help. The woman said that on October 2, her husband went hunting. The man planned to return home on October 31, but did not do so.

When the hunter stopped communicating, concerned relatives rushed to search for him on their own. But this did not bring any results.

After the wife of the missing man contacted the police, law enforcement officers, together with experienced volunteers on snowmobiles, examined the forest area, the banks of the Bergima and Chunya rivers, the channels of the Podkamennaya Tunguska River and hunting huts. Also, using underwater cameras, a part of the Chunya River was examined.

“Due to bad weather conditions, at the moment it is not possible to involve aviation equipment in search activities to examine the place where the hunter went missing,” explained the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

Let us remind you that earlier rescuers found the body of a fisherman who disappeared in the Partizansky district.
