In Kansk, the ex-head of the veterinary clinics will judge the scam with the catch of stray dogs

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the police sent under trial of the ex-director of a veterinary company from Kansk for fraud with catching homeless animals.
The police explained that in March 2020, the company, the main activity of which was veterinary medicine, entered into a contract with the municipality for work with vagrant animals. The rendering of the services included catching homeless dogs, their delivery to the shelter of Krasnoyarsk, and then, after inspection, sterilization, castration and vaccination, return to the environment.
In fact, work under this contract was not carried out, but after 3 months the director submitted false documents on the processing of 50 dogs and received more than 307 thousand rubles.
The fact of the crime was revealed by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Combating Corruption of the Kansky ATS. A criminal case was opened under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud”. The investigation is completed, soon a 41-year-old man will appear before court. He can face up to 6 years in prison.
