Stelian Bujduveanu explained, in an interview for News.ro, that, when the Government will establish the date of partial elections, he will communicate “Franc in front” his decision:
“I refrained during this period, because I think we must first have a firmly established date from the Government and then the coalition parties make a very, very serious decision who to run for this function”.
Bujduveanu has sells about the variant of a common candidate for the capital, to be supported by PSD, not just PNL and USR, warning that, otherwise, there is a risk that the current ruling coalition will break down.
“When the country burns, do we fight with each other in the famous Ciolaniada?”he asks, rhetorically, Bujduveanu.
The interim general mayor of the Capital believes that the former USR leader Cătălin Drulă was posed with President Nicuşor Dan to force the entrance to the Capital City Hall and draws attention to the risks that would imply the division of the right-handed votes:
“If we just make an ankle game to put candidates who do not have a real chance, we risk that in the fall or in the spring we will give the capital in the hands of a sovereign.”
Bujduveanu announced when Cathedral Plaza will tear down
The interim mayor said he would tear down Cathedral Plaza when there will be a definitive sentence in this regard.
“We had many trials with many people who have built illegally in this city over the years. The processes go ahead. When we reach a definitive decision, because now we are still in extraordinary ways, we will surely apply the court decision”, I say the interim mayor for News.ro.
The reason why he went to Ion Iliescu's catapult
The mayor explained why he was present at the catapult of former President Ion Iliescu.
“I did not know Ion Iliescu. We never met. But the institution of the Presidency of Romania had an event in which a former head of state died. Institutional, I think this behavior to howl in the free market against someone who died does not bring justice and honor to society.”
