“The ideas related to the integrity tests for ANAF, for the Romanian customs authority and onJN are resumed. We need to install this measure precisely to act when we have suspected or suspected persons of various fraudulent activities in any of these institutions, especially in the control area”, said Nazare, at a press conference.
According to the minister, the measure aims to increase the degree of transparency and the level of integrity in the fiscal control institutions.
“We also introduce bodycams for the control activity in ANAF, for the customs control activity and for the control area in the ONJN. We need such measures precisely to have a transparency of how the control activity, whether it is ANAF or antifraud, or customs,” happens, ” he said.
Nazare stressed that these practices are not an international premiere:
“I think it's a healthy issue, it is not only Romania, Italy does, other countries do it, precisely to cultivate integrity in these areas.”
This idea was announced by Alexandru Nazare two weeks ago.
“Those who work on the field should have bodycams. Why do Bodycam police and anti-fraud inspectors do not have? We want to introduce this in package 2 measures: everything that means customs inspector or ANAF inspector with direct control duties to comply stressed the minister on July 31.
