Season 2025-2026 starts today officially, with the European Super Cup: PSG – Tottenham. More children of the refugees will attend the match in Udine.

More children will participate in the festivity organized before the match. The UEFA Foundation invited two children to participate in the awarding of medals, Tala, a 12 -year -old girl from Palestine, and Mohamed, a 9 -year -old boy, who left Gaza with his grandmother, after his parents.

In addition to the two, 9 other children who have refugee status in Italy and who come from the conflict area (Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Palestine and Ukraine) will participate in the opening ceremony. And they will display the message “Stop killing children! Stop killing civilians!”

Moreover, other children will be involved in the match. The 22 players will go out with children with health problems or from the areas with difficulties in Udine. There will be 20 children who will hold the flags and 40 other children will welcome the footballers.
