Jaroslav Svoboda, head of the group, He calls the last year “the best in history”. His company is not going to stop and is looking for opportunities outside the Czech Republic. He is already entering Hungary, buying a four-star hotel Achat with 134 rooms, two-level apartments and conference facilities near the Puskás Arena sports stadium and the most important train station in Budapest-Budapest-Keleti.
Svoboda does not hide that she is also looking at Poland. “We want to move to Slovakia to Bratislava, Poland to Krakow and Warsaw. We have well mapped the Visegrad area and we want to rent or buy hotels there,” he says in an interview with the portal.
“We talked about it internally in the company and we came to the conclusion that we should go in this direction. Both Hungary and Poland are countries that are ahead of us in almost everything, “he adds.
He emphasizes that in the Czech market there is already a lack of fuel for further development. “The Czech Republic was ahead of these countries before Pandemic. After the pandemic we lose in terms of prices, occupancy – These countries can simply organize tourism better than the Czech Republic” – he argues.
