The Zheleznogorsk City Court sentenced four local residents. They were found guilty of kidnapping, extortion, robbery and abduction of documents. All of them received real terms of imprisonment, writes the United press service of the courts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
As the court established, in March 2024, four men decided to arrange a lynching over two residents of the city, whom they suspected of drug trafficking.
At first they tracked the first victim at the store, pushed into the car by force, beaten and demanded 250 thousand rubles, threatening to inform the police about his involvement in the sale of prohibited substances. Then, having learned from him the address of the second man, they came to his house, beat him and also pushed into the car, putting forward similar requirements.

After that, the abductors took both to the industrial zone, where they continued the beating and forced them to admit drug for drugs. Threatening to disseminate this video, they obtained the victims of consent to the payment of money and released it.
In addition to the abduction and extortion, the attackers also robbed their victims. They selected a backpack with things in the amount of almost 140 thousand rubles, a mobile phone worth 90 thousand and a passport of one of the victims.
The court found all four guilty. Three of them received from 5.5 to 7 years in a maximum security colony. The fourth, taking into account the previous sentence, will spend 13 years in the colony.
The sentence has not yet entered into legal force.
