Tusk's government uses the idea of Orban and Kaczyński. Return of the flagship institution from PiS time

The establishment of the Institute of Polish-Hungarian Cooperation Wacław Felczak dates back to January 6, 2016. The idea was born during dinner in Nidzica, where the Hungarian Prime Minister presented his idea to the head of PiS Jarosław Kaczyński. The institution was originally intended to strengthen the bond between Poland and Hungary, but it aroused controversy for years. “Rzeczpospolita” reminds: even the CCP controllers during the time of Mateusz Morawiecki criticized the “Byzantine style” of the facility.

According to the newspaper's findings, the Institute was in the crosshairs of the new ruling team in Warsaw after the victory of Donald Tusk. Initially, the plan assumed the liquidation of the organization, but ultimately it was decided to give it a completely new character. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Jakub Wiśniewski was appointed as the manager, and supporting the “basic human freedoms” was a priority.
