An explosion occurred during the night in front of the house of the mayor of Stăuceni commune in the Republic of Moldova, announced the mayor who also published images of the explosion, according to UNIMEDIA.
According to a post made by Mayor Alexandru Vornicu, from the same party as the president Maia Sandu, a car stopped in front of his house and a person threw the explosive.
The images on the surveillance cameras show the moment of the explosion that takes place in the natural fence near the house. They were not injured behind her.
“It is an extremely serious and difficult to explain incident. At 01:57, a person in a car stopped in front of my house, threw an explosive device and left. The police are investigating the case,” wrote the mayor on the networks and published video images with the attack.

The President of the Chisinau Parliament, Igor Grosu, condemned the explosive attack from the mayor's house.

The Moldovan police opened an investigation to establish all the circumstances and identify the perpetrator.
