Earlier in the evening appeal, he announced the conversation of security advisers with the participation of the special representative of US President Donald Trump Steve Vitcoff.
“Today there will still be a conversation between the security advisers of Ukraine, other European countries, also an American representative – there will be a representative of President Trump there. All the details will be discussed. We need really coordinated and maximally worked out approaches in diplomacy,” the head of the Ukrainian state informed.
Axios, citing informed sources, wrote that Witkoff planned to hold a video conference with officials of Ukraine, Finland, France, Germany, Italy and Great Britain in order to inform them about his meeting with the illegitimate President of Russia Vladimir Putin and discuss further actions, including the possible summit of Trump and Putin.

The special representative of Putin for investment and economic cooperation, Kirill Dmitriev, based on the results of Vitcoff's visit to Moscow on August 6, announced the continuation of a “constructive dialogue” between the United States and Russia. According to the assistant to the illegitimate president of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov, Moscow “handed over some signals” on the war in Ukraine and “received the appropriate signals” from Washington. He added that the situation will become clearer when Vitcoff can report to Trump's conversation.
In the evening appeal on August 6, Vladimir Zelensky stated that the authorities of the aggressor of the Russian Federation are already more configured to end the war in Ukraine than before.
