Tomasz Tarkowski, as the company informs in a published announcement, is a member of the board of PZU from November 4, 2024, and from November 14, 2024, also a member of the board of PZU Życie. In the period from January 31 to June 16, 2025, he temporarily performed the duties of the President of the Management Board of PZU Życie Grupa.
Tarkowski for most of his professional life (1996-2016) associated with the PZU Group, in which he went through all surgical and management levels in the area of damage liquidation ranging from a specialist, by the director of the Dam Liquidation Center to the board. In the years 2007-2011, as a member of the board of PZU Ukraine, he was responsible for the area of damage liquidation, product management and risk assessment
Then he entered the board of PZU and PZU Życie and managed the Dam of Damage and Benefits Division. For several months of 2016 he was also the president of the board of Link4. In the following years he worked, among others For Ergo Hestia, where he was responsible for implementing modern solutions in the process of eliminating damage to ERGO companies in Poland and Baltic States, then managed Controlexpert Polska, providing services and tec hnologies for damage to the liquidation.
From April 2022, he was the managing director at Uniqa Tu and Uniqua Tu Na Życie SA responsible for the compensation and benefits division, including the area of debt collection of recourse claims and servicing court cases.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Car and Working Machines of the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Insurance and Banking. He also completed post -graduate studies in road safety at the Military University of Technology, economic insurance from at the Academy of Economics in Krakow, psychology of personnel management at the University of Warsaw and Advanced Management Program at Iese Business School.
