The National Prosecutor's Office stated that her message about the results of the work of the prosecutor's coordinating team of the investigation into crimes regarding the presidential election contained errors. Incorrect data concerned two peripheral electoral commissions in Ostrów Mazowiecka and Łęczna.

“The current data collected by the team, based on all committees examined, taking into account the correct result in the above -mentioned committees, indicate that Karol Nawrocki received 1239 votes less, and Rafał Trzaskowski at 1242 votes more than the official electoral protocols” – said PK.

The prosecutor's office also informed that correct data had already been forwarded to the chairman of the National Electoral Commission.

At the end of July, a spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office Przemysław Nowak announced that the inspection of votes from 250 regional electoral commissions shows that Nawrocki should receive 1538 votes less, and Trzaskowski – more votes at 1541 votes. So we are talking about a difference of 1.5 thousand. votes – he told.

The first round of presidential elections was held on May 18 this year; The second round, in which Karol Nawrocki won, took place on June 1 this year.

Shortly afterwards, in the media and in the election protests sent to the Supreme Court there were reports of possible anomalies in regional election committees – including on the opposite assignment of votes to both candidates. Therefore, the national prosecutor Dariusz Korneluk took on June 30 this year.
