The National Arena houses the Summer Racefest Arena, the most spectacular auto event of the summer
At the end of this week, the National Arena in the Capital will become the scene of one of the most spectacular car events organized in Romania, Rodrift Arena Summer Racefest, attended by 80 pilots from 6 countries in the four divisions of the National Drift Championship.
Along three days of adrenaline, over 40,000 horsepower will perform at the fourth stage in the Pro and Semi Pro championship, but also in the season finals at the Street Open and Drift Kids categories. At the last division, at only 10 years old, Alexis Stan is a great favorite and can become the youngest national champion in the history of this discipline in Romania.
In addition to the battles that fans expect with their souls, they will also have drift demonstrations, car exhibitions, relaxation areas and entertainment, which will turn the national arena into a true festival dedicated to motorsport and adrenaline enthusiasts.
Organized by Rodrift, the event brings together 80 pilots from 6 countries, which will evolve in two specially arranged areas for Drift, right around the national arena. The spectators will be able to admire the tandem between cars with hundreds of horsepower. In fact, the fight in the title between the Ukrainian Roman Zelinsky and the Brasov kid Gabi Imre JR is one of the most anticipated duels of Motorsport enthusiasts in Romania.
In addition, the public will have available food court areas with various dishes, bars, an exclusive VIP area, but also an exhibition of supercars, which includes rare and collection models, brought by Racebox partners.
The event begins on Friday, August 8, with closed gates training sessions, accessible only to those who purchased the Drift Experience package. From 6:00 pm, the gates open for the general public, for an official pilot presentation and a meet & Greet session, in which fans will be able to interact with athletes.
Saturday and Sunday, August 9 and 10, the public access will be allowed between 9:00 and 19:00, and tickets are available online on the Rodrift.ro platform and at the entrance to the National Arena. Children up to 10 years old benefit from free access, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
