A motorcyclist was attacked by a bear on Transfăgărășan. It is about a foreign citizen who was bitten by the animal while he was in a car column.

According to IPJ Argeș, on Saturday, the policemen from the Albești de Argeș Rural Police Section were notified that a motorcyclist was bitten by a bear, on DN 7C – Transfăgărășan, in the area of Arefu, in the area of Stan, writes Mediafax.
From the preliminary checks carried out, it was established that a 73 -year -old man, a foreign citizen, while moving with a motorcycle in the direction of Vidraru – Curtea de Argeș, stopped on the road, in the column, due to crowded traffic. At that moment, a bear on the side of the road bitten by the right leg.
A medical crew who provided medical care to the man went to the scene. The person concerned refused transport to the hospital.

It is not the first incident with motorcyclists attacked by bears on Transfagarasan.
