A fire broke out on Tuesday evening, January 13, at a house in the town of Fărău, Alba county, as a result of the explosion of a cylinder. Two people are injured.

The Aiud Fire Department intervened on the scene, being assigned two special water and foam extinguishing vehicles, a first aid crew, two SAJ ambulances, one of which with a doctor, and SVSU Fărău, writes Agerpres.
The two injured persons, conscious, were medically assisted at the scene of the intervention – one victim with 1st and 2nd degree burns on approximately 80% of the body surface and the other with 1st and 2nd degree burns on approximately 40% of the body surface.
When the intervention teams arrived, the fire appeared on the roof, on an area of approximately 60 square meters.
Firefighters succeeded in locating the fire and are still working to completely extinguish the fire and remove its negative effects.
A similar incident also took place in Zalău. Today, a fire broke out in an apartment located on the second floor of a block in the municipality, following an explosion caused by a cylinder. The Red Intervention Plan was activated.
According to ISU Sălaj, a man suffered burns and was taken over by the mobile intensive care team. Eight other people also received medical attention at the scene.
