The Czechs see what is happening in Poland. “It raises emotions and sometimes even panic”


The Czechs are very impressed with growing salaries in Poland. The article that can be read in the Hospoda Noviny daily emphasized that in the last five years the Polish government has managed to raise a minimum wage by 37 percent. “The minimum wage in Poland is currently about a third higher than in our country!” – we read.
Currently, the minimum wage in our country is PLN 4,666. In turn, our southern neighbors are 20 thousand. 800 Czech crowns (approx. PLN 3615). The author of the article emphasizes, however, that the average Polish pay is still at a very similar level to the Czech.

The Poles fled the Czechs in terms of salary level. “It's hard to find more arguments”
He also notes that our economy “is doing well”, which is why salaries can still grow. Only three years ago they were about 25 percent. lower than in the Czech Republic. “Perhaps soon in Poland they will catch up with the level of” German salaries “!” – we read. The author also warns that in the current situation investors may be more and more willing to choose Poland in the context of starting new development projects.

“Unfortunately, despite the lower minimum wage, it is difficult to find more arguments for choosing the Czech Republic,” we read. The reason is also that our southern neighbors investors must take into account higher taxes. In addition, according to the author, investors are more and more willing to employ Poles in important positions, not the Czechs, due to the experience that many of our citizens gained during their stay in exile, among others in Great Britain.
