In Krasnoyarsk, a festival of ethnic cultures and arts of the indigenous peoples of Russia will be held on the central embankment on August 9.
The festival is dedicated to the celebration of International Day of the indigenous peoples of the world. The beginning of events at 16:00. The program includes the vivid performances of ethnic artists from Evenkia and Taimyr – the ensembles “Harp”, “Yaval”, “Ilmakta”, “Guluvun”, “Tomokon”, as well as the soloists of Vladimir Khomenko, Sergey Sigunei and others.
Guests of the holiday are waiting for master classes on the manufacture of souvenir products, interactive games for children and adolescents, sports on jumping through sledges and throwing a Mauta on a chorea. As part of the festival, an exhibition and sale of decorative art products from masters of the north will work on the embankment.
Recall that the International Day of the indigenous peoples of the world is a memorable date celebrated on August 9. It was established by the resolution of the 49th session of the UN General Assembly in 1994 in honor of the first meeting of the UN working group on the problems of indigenous peoples, which took place on August 9, 1982, and as part of the International Decade of the Indigenous Peoples of the World.
The purpose of the memorable date is to draw attention to the problems of indigenous peoples.
