US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday, August 5 that the current JD Vance vice -president is “Most likely” His political heir and the candidate of the Republican Party for the presidential elections of 2028 – the clearest support expressed by Trump in favor of Vance.

“Well, I think (it's) most likely,” Trump told reporters, asked if Vance was the natural descendant of the Maga movement he inspired. “Let's be correct, he is the vice president”he added, according to Reuters.
Trump also suggested that Vance and the current Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, could team up for a future republican candidacy, mentioning the possibility of a political tandem between the two.
Although the race for 2028 is still far away, Trump's influence on the Republican base remains strong, and any sign of support from him has major implications inside the party.
Previously, Trump had avoided expressing his support for a possible successor. In February he said that Vance is “Very capable”, but he considers premature to call him as a favorite for 2028.
JD Vance, a former 40 -year -old Marin kid, plays an important role in the Trump administration, being a first -rate diplomat and one of the main voices in promoting the president's internal and external policies.
Marco Rubio, a former Florida senator, imposed as an important figure in solving the challenges of the Trump administration. He is the first politician, from Henry Kissinger, who holds the positions of state secretary and national security counselor simultaneously.
