Liberal Sebastian Burduja, former Minister of Energy in the government led by Marcel Ciolacu, was appointed Wednesday, August 6, appointed honorary counselor of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.

The decision was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the published order, Sebastian Burudja's activity is unpaid.

Between 2023-2024, Burduja was Minister of Energy, and earlier, between 2022-2023, he led the portfolio of research, innovation and digitalization.

Sebastian Burduja, who is the son of the former vice-president of Bancorex Marinel Burduja, has, according to the official CV, a license in political science (with special merits and honors-maximum qualification at the Diploma work-A+) at Stanford University, between 09.2004-06.2008 and Master in Public Police Kennedy School of Government-Harvard University, between 09.2008-06.2011. He also graduated from the master's degree (with special merits; David Rubestein stock) also at Harvard Business School-Harvard University, during the same period, 09.2008-06.2011.

Last year, he ran for the Capital City Hall from PNL.
