Regular flights Bucharest – Munich, operated again by a Romanian company. Since November Animawings launches 3 weekly flights to Munich airport

The 100% Romanian airline Animawings announces the start of the operating flights on the Bucharest-Munich route and return, starting November 5, 2025. The flights will have 3 weekly frequencies, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and tickets can already be reserved on the company's website and on the partner network.

The duration of the flight is 2H10 min, and the tariffs start from 26.99 euros/sense. As for all other flights operated by the company, the ticket price includes for all cabic luggage passengers (8kg), a personal purse / bag (4kg), free selection, online check-in and free offline.

Munich is one of the most important business and mobility destinations in Central Europe, with a huge potential for both the corporate segment and for passengers traveling for personal purposes. By introducing this route, we strengthen our flight network to key hubs in Europe and offer Romanian passengers an efficient, fast and comfortable connection to southern Germany and beyond. It is a natural step in our development strategy, which aims to expand the international connectivity of Romania with relevant destinations, operated on the highest quality standards”, Said Marius Pandel, president of Animawings.

Animawings launches this route in the winter season because Munich is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Europe, recognized for spectacular Christmas fairs, authentic Bavarian atmosphere and proximity to popular ski resorts. The city attracts thousands of tourists annually in search of cultural city breaks, gastronomic tours or winter getaway, being an ideal choice for the cold season.

Bucharest-Munich, the 21st regular route operated by Animawings

The launch of the Bucharest – Munich route comes in continuing an extensive process of expanding the Animawings network, announced since the beginning of the year. The new destinations include Istanbul, with flights operated on five airports in Romania (Bucharest, Iași, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara and Craiova), as well as the European routes Bucharest-Prague and Bucharest-Sofia, together with the consolidation of the internal connectivity by opening the Bucharest-Suceava and Bucharest-Bucharest. These extensions reflect the company's strategy to increase the regional and international accessibility of Romania, through direct flights operated with state -of -the -art aircraft, to modern comfort standards.

The flights will be operated on Airbus A220 aircraft, a state -of -the -art model, known for its operational efficiency, increased comfort and avant -garde technology. The aircraft are new, delivered from December 2024, and are part of the order of 12 Airbus A220 units that Animawings has contracted to expand its fleet over the coming years. A new aircraft will be received this fall, thus supporting the increase of the regular route network.

Passengers will have the opportunity to choose between three comfort classes: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economybenefiting from a high standard of services on board and the efficiency of the operation offered by the new A220 aircraft. Regardless of the class chosen, every detail is designed to provide a compromise travel experience: from the comfort of the seats and the latest aircraft technology, to the personalized services and dedicated on -board crews. In the Animawings vision, the plane travel must be more than a means of transport – a pleasant, safe and stressful experience that inspires passengers to discover new destinations with confidence and enthusiasm.
