The Washington Post (WP), with reference to two officials, wrote that Trump will accept the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in the White House, trying to conclude a peace agreement between the two countries in many years of conflict. The publication calls this meeting “the last example of the Presidential efforts [Трампа]aimed at the cessation of international conflicts and obtaining recognition for this [Нобелевской премии мира]”.
According to WP interlocutors, perhaps during the meeting of Pashinyan and Aliyev with Trump, the conclusion of the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace agreement will be announced.
