Armed attack on a US military base. Victims have been reported and the unit is in alert state

Georgia Fort Stewart military base is in alert and has been closed, according to a police spokesman, who confirmed that “there is an active shooter.”
Fort Stewart military base fired in a Facebook post that “Victims have been reported and the continuous situation ”. It is unclear whether victims include injured, deaths or both.
“Currently, we evaluate the situation, but we can confirm an active attacker”, said Lieutenant-Colonel Angel Tomko.
The staff in the closed area is advised “To stay inside, close and lock all windows and doors.”
“Due to the state of isolation, all the gates from Fort Stewart are currently closed”said the fort on social networks.
Georgia's governor, Brian Kemp, is in contact with the law enforcement forces, he said in a statement.

The Fort Stewart base of the US Army trains and conducts active and reserve units of the army. It also houses the 3rd Infantry Division. It is about 40 miles southwest of Savannah, Georgia.
Over 10,000 people, soldiers, members of the families and civilian employees of the army, live on the basis.
