The Abakan was detained for a false message about the act of terrorism. He explained his act by the fact that “nervous and freaking out” due to the lack of the Internet.

According to the Khakassia Ministry of Internal Affairs, the day before, an unknown person called an unknown person who introduced himself as a 21-year-old local resident and said that he was moving towards the on-duty part of the Abakan police with a bomb in his hands in order to undermine the building.

An investigative-operational group was immediately created and the personality and location of the attacker were established as soon as possible. But they were not a 21-year-old, but a 46-year-old man.

“When detaining at the place of residence, the previously convicted citizen was drunk. He explained that his actions were aimed at ensuring that the law enforcement agencies resumed the work of the Internet, ”the Kha Khakassia said in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A criminal case was opened against the attacker under part 3 of article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (knowingly false message On the preparations of explosion, arson or other actions that create the danger of people death, causing significant property damage or the occurrence of other socially dangerous consequences in order to destabilize the activities of the authorities). The sanction provides for a fine of up to 1 million rubles, or imprisonment from 6 to 8 years.
