We are very interested in establishing a dialogue between the leaders of both countries as soon as possible. We are open to a discussion on important matters from our agenda. That is why we are waiting for the visit of the President of Friendly Poland in friendly Ukraine and we do not have to wait for some symbolic dates to make this invitation.”
Sybiha was also asked, among others for historical dialogue between our countries. “I believe that we have achieved significant progress in this matter. We have created an intergovernmental commission. Currently, both the Ukrainian and Poland have begun issuing appropriate permits for search and exhumation work. As for the Polish side, it was already in one of the cities on the territory of Ukraine (former village of Puźniki in the Ternopilian region – PAP). Search and exhumation work was carried out. This issue, which has spoiled our friendly relations for so many years, must be solved in this context.
