According to CEPiK data, in July 2025, 55,844 passenger cars and vans with DMC up to 3.5 t were registered in Poland, i.e. by 16.48 percent. more than a year earlier and by 0.57 percent more than in June. Samar also said that in July Chinese producers obtained 8.2 percent. market share, i.e. by 2.1 percentage points more than in June and 1.1 pp more than a record result in May, when 7.1 percent. The newly registered cars were Chinese production.
CEPIK data also shows that the share of new electric passenger cars (BEV) in the market in July amounted to 7.6 percent, which is the same as in June.
The IBRM Samar forecast for 2025 assumes registration of about 570 thousand. passenger cars and 67.5 thousand van, with experts noted – growth dynamics shows that the final result can be even higher.
Eleven from the first fifteen brands classified on the ranking list in terms of the greatest sales recorded an increase in the number of cars registered in 2025 compared to a similar period of the previous year. MG with a result of 105.62 percent turned out to be a growth leader. In turn, Toyota recorded the largest decline – 10.52 percent.
Toyota, however, maintained the position of the market leader. In 2025, customers bought and registered 53 194 cars of this brand, and its market share was 15.85 percent. The second place was taken by Skoda, with a score of 35 602 pcs, by 2.87 percent higher than in the same period 2024 and 10.61 percent market share. Volkswagen came in third. The customers of the German manufacturer registered in 2025 24,351 cars, by 16.97 percent. more than a year ago. The share of this brand in the Polish market amounted to 7.26 percent. (PAP)
