For Max Verstappen (Red Bull), the Grand Formula Prize of Hungary is announced to be a complicated one. As stated at the end of the qualifications.
After three training sessions in which he was away from the rivals in McLaren and Ferrari, Max Verstappen did not find his rhythm in the qualifications either. He will leave the 8th place on the Hungaroring circuit. At the end of the qualifications, the Dutchman, four times world champion, revealed what problems he had with the car and what is expected for the Sunday race.
What problems did Max Verstappen have in Hungarian qualifications
“We didn't seem to find the balance. We tried to do a lot, but unfortunately nothing helped. Today it was a very difficult day, the adhesion was simply very low, and the car was not balanced. So it's hard to say what the problem was exactly.
Really difficult to explain how this weekend we have many difficulties with the car. We simply have no adhesion neither on the face nor back. The car is difficult to balance. It's a bit of mystery at the moment. All weekend I had no rhythm! Nothing to work!
So far, it's not our weekend. We need to understand very well what doesn't work and why we have problems with the car. McLaren looks very strong, but we can fight the rest. Given what we showed this weekend, we should be pleased that we arrived in Q3. Especially since most of the time I was outside the top 10”, Said Max Verstappen.
The whole team suffered this weekend. The car has no stability. The adhesion is completely lacking.
