Tottenham fired coach Thomas Frank (52 years old), under whose command he won only 13 of the 38 games played. The Telegraph presented the list of possible replacements for the Dane.
Radu Drăgușin was left without a head coach today, Thomas Frank being dismissed after almost 8 months in office.
Spurs' management have begun looking for a replacement for Frank and have already drawn up a shortlist, The Telegraph has learned. The London newspaper writes that Tottenham want to have a new manager in place by Monday at the latestbut it is unclear whether it will be a “full-time” technician, with a long-term contract, or an interim one.
3 names on Tottenham's list: Roberto De Zerbi, Mauricio Pochettino, Robbie Keane
Regarding Frank's options for permanent replacements, the cited source listed 3 coaches: Roberto De Zerbijust left Marseilles, Mauricio Pochettinothe USA coach, who coached in north London for many years, and Robbie Keanecurrently the coach of Ferencvaros in Hungary. The Italian seems in pole-position.
Until they find out the name of their new coach, Drăgușin and his colleagues received 5 days offduring which the management will try to install the technician to save what is left of this season.
De Zerbi, who had just left Marseille, would have opened the return to the Premier League, where he also coached Brighton. With Mauricio Pochettino it would be more difficult, it is unlikely to impossible that he will leave the United States national team before the World Championship.

The third option, Robbie Keane, would be a Michael Carrick-type solution at Manchester United: club legend, good references from his current job in Hungary.
Internally, the only solution would be John Heitinga, the Dutchman who was hired in January, as second coach, to help Thomas Frank.
